Help center

Keep Urlivo ready for launch with the right setup for links, custom domains, billing, and lightweight analytics.

Start with links

Launch the self-serve flow first so every user can shorten, copy, and track links without help.

  1. Create your first short link from the Links page.
  2. Choose a platform domain or a verified custom domain.
  3. Share the short URL and review clicks in analytics.

Connect custom domains

Custom domains add trust and brand visibility. They should stay simple and guided.

  1. Use a subdomain such as go.example.com whenever possible.
  2. Add the TXT verification record and point the CNAME to Urlivo.
  3. Verify the domain, then use it when creating new links.

Track what matters

Urlivo already tracks pageviews and product actions with TrackZora, plus click analytics inside the app.

  • Use link analytics for clicks, countries, devices, and referrers.
  • Use TrackZora for product usage, billing events, and onboarding flows.
  • Keep tracking lightweight and privacy-friendly by default.

Finish billing readiness

Before going fully live, make sure checkout, price IDs, webhooks, and refund messaging are clear.

  • Connect Paddle in Billing and keep all readiness checks green.
  • Test one full checkout in sandbox, then switch to live mode.
  • Keep pricing, refund, contact, privacy, and terms pages easy to find.

API roadmap

An API is useful, but it does not need to ship before the core product feels stable.

  • Prioritize billing, custom domains, and search/filter flows first.
  • Then add API keys, link endpoints, analytics endpoints, and webhooks for paid plans.
  • Publish concise API docs only after the flows are stable for real users.

Frequently asked questions

Should I launch the API now?

Not yet. The bigger win is a stable self-serve product with billing, custom domains, and clear analytics.

Which plans should get custom domains?

Keep custom domains on paid plans only. They are one of the clearest upgrade reasons.

How many short domains do I need at launch?

One strong main domain is enough. Add more platform domains only when you need shorter branded options.

What should I polish next after this?

Finish Paddle live mode, improve domain verification UX, and keep link management fast with filters and clear feedback.
